Mango Lassi

Digestion-enhancing mango lassi, the ingredients are : flesh of half a ripe mango / 1 small pot of natural plain yoghurt / 100ml skimmed milk / half tbsp rose water / crushed unsalted pistachios

Method:

1. Put all the ingredients ( except pistachios ) into a blender and blitz
2. Pour into a glass and sprinkle with the pistachios

Mango

Mango’s digestion enzyme - papain - will help you absorb protein and essentail nutrients, while the betacarotene will fight free-radical damage caused by exercise

Yoghurt

As well as protein, yoghurt supplies probiotics, which can boost metabolism and reduce bloating

Milk

The calcium in milk stimulates the mechanisms in the cells that break down fat. It is also vital for bone health.

Pistachios

The good fats found in nuts increase your feeling of fullness. Their high potassium-to-sodium ratio also helps regulate your metabolism so you don’t suffer hunger pangs.
